The Parker Ski/Snowboard Club, a parent-coordinated/chaperoned program, enables students to take advantage of the Wachusett Mountain Student Ski Program, with discounted rates on ski passes, lessons and rentals, while spending time with their classmates, skiing/snowboarding and, we hope, the winter snow! Due to Covid-19, there will be new safety protocols in place for the season.

Covid-19 Protocols:

  • Indoor space for seating and storage is limited
  • There will be more outdoor seating on the deck including additional firepits, heaters and heated benches
  • More outdoor storage has been added
  • Vehicles should be considered as “personal base lodges” and, if possible, personal items should be stored there
  • The Wachusett Clean Team will regularly provide enhanced sanitation and cleaning
  • Lift capacity will be reduced to allow for physical distancing
  • Face coverings are required in the load area and while riding the lift

Important Club Information:

  • Parents must provide transportation to and from the mountain
  • Six-week Program, on Wednesdays, from 4 pm to 8 pm
  • Program runs January 6, 2021 to February 10, 2021 (Session canceled if school is canceled. Make-up added at the end of the six weeks)
  • Cost of six-week Lift Badge $161 (before 12/8/20), $176 (after 12/8/20)
  • All students need to be responsible for skiing according to their ability, not skiing recklessly, and follow the rules of the mountain
  • Novice students must participate in the ski school, and we ask them to stay on the beginner slope with the magic carpet and not ride the chair lift until they’re ready (lessons are at 5 PM)
  • This year parents can also sign up for the school passes using the Parker School code
  • Additional details regarding Season Pass options, rentals, lessons, application changes, withdrawal, etc. can be found at

How to Register:

(Please use the email address from which you would prefer to receive communication from the Coordinator when you order online)

  1. Step ONE: go to
  2. Step TWO: enter Access Code: PCES
  3. Complete a Parker Liability Waiver
  4. Complete a Parker Drop off/Pick up Waiver
  5. Make sure you receive an email receipt from Wachusett to confirm your registration is complete

We Need Volunteer Chaperones:

  • Adult chaperones are needed to help supervise at the mountain (we prefer chaperones to attend all six sessions, if possible). We hope to have one chaperone for every ten students.
  • Chaperones are able to ski/snowboard and to rent equipment free of charge while we're at the mountain
  • There will be one chaperone at a designated location in the lodge at all times who will take attendance
  • All chaperones need to have a current CORI on file with the school
  • If you believe your child may need more supervision, please feel free to meet us at the mountain
  • If you are interested in being a chaperone, please email

Thank you,
Jill Hennessey and Steve Tarver
