The MIAA has issued a statement that Spring Sports will now begin no earlier that Monday, March 30th. We will provide an update as we get closer to the new starting date.
Spring Sports at Parker includes Track & Field, Baseball, Softball, and Lacrosse (hosted by Bromfield). If your student plans to participate in a Spring Sport:
Go to the Health Portal (studentehr.com) and complete the "Sports 2019-2020 - Athlete Documentation" IF you haven’t already done so.
A current physical (within 13 months of the start of the season) can be uploaded to the Health Portal under "screenings" and "attach proof of physical". Hard copies can be sent to Nurse Lisa if you prefer. There are no exceptions and students are not allowed to participate in practices if they don’t have a current physical. Sports physicals can be done at most urgent care facilities as well as CVS Minute Clinic.
If you filled out the Athlete Registration at the beginning of the year but didn't include a spring sport, please send an email to Lisa at firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know which sport your student will be playing this spring. There is no need to complete another athlete registration unless your emergency contact information has changed.
- If you have a Health Portal question, please email Lisa Zick, School Nurse, at email@example.com
- If you have a sports related question, please email Ben Benoit, Athletic Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Sports User Fee Policy:
The User Fee is $275 per player, per sport. There is a Family Cap of $1100 per school year. Checks can be made payable to Parker, or the online payment option can be used (on the school website under Students & Parents). Anyone who desires a payment plan, or qualifies under the free/reduced school lunch program, should contact the business office prior to the season starting.
The User Fee is due PRIOR TO THE FIRST OFFICIAL GAME/MEET. Student-athletes will be held out at that point until the fee is paid.
