A Thank You to Parents - Coaching Program Info

Dear Parker Families;

I would like to thank you for the gift of working with your students. Parker students are truly a joy to know, and it is a privilege to see them grow up before our eyes.

To the parents of the Class of 2018: congratulations to you! Your guidance and love has allowed your child to achieve so many goals both academically and personally. We will miss your students greatly; the Class of 2018 has left a legacy of kindness that will be long-remembered by all.

Have a restful and happy summer! I look forward to seeing everyone again in September.

Sometimes parents ask about coaching programs for themselves or for their young adult children. A new program is being developed at the Peter Pan Center in Boxborough. Donna Shea has been a frequent speaker at Parker, and Parker parents have found her presentations to be extremely helpful. Please see below for information regarding this exciting new opportunity.

It's hard to believe it's been almost 18 years!

As the Peter Pan Center enters it's own age of adulthood, and the many kids who have come through my doors over the years are grown, I felt it was time to launch coaching program for adults!

I have recently completed certifications in both Positive Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Coaching and am blending them together to bring the best of both to two new groups for adults.

Can't make it at the scheduled session times or prefer to work 1:1? Individual coaching sessions are available.

Interested? Call me at 978/413-1965 or email

These sessions are for any adult interested in optimism, improving well-being and making positive progress in growing PERMA (Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment) in their lives.

During this pilot program we will be delving into the topics of:

  • Discovering your signature strengths
  • Do you base your life on emotions, expectations or facts?
  • Getting unstuck and moving forward
  • Managing anxiety, reactions, and strong emotions
  • Cognitive distortions and how they become barriers to success
  • How to create an internal sense of well-being
  • What we can and cannot control

And more...

Dates: Tuesdays, June 5, June 12 & June 19
10:30 AM - 11:45 AM
$55 per drop-in session

Can't make it in the morning or prefer to work 1:1?
Individual coaching sessions are available. ($110/hour)

Interested? Call me at 978/413-1965 or email

I am working to develop and offer a program for young adults, ages 18-24, who are looking to make progress from where they are to where they want to go.Reading_Map.jpg

Sessions would be a blend of life skills, social skills and opportunities to meet other young adults.

If this is of interest to you or a young adult you know in your life, let me know and when we have enough participants, we'll look into a launch date and time that works for those who wish to join in.
