Parker ART SALE: Calling all Artists, Artisans, and Craftspeople!

  SALE_bags_colors.jpg

CALLING ALL ARTISTS, ARTISANS,
AND CRAFTSPEOPLE!

Help make the Parker Art & Craft Sale a success and share some of your work with the community!

Do you make things?

Are you secretly a knitter, painter, birdhouse builder, pottery maker, basket weaver, or greeting card designer? Maybe you took a ceramics class a few years back and still have some cool bowls sitting around or maybe you make jewelry that you never thought about selling. Whatever your medium or experience level, the Parker Art Sale needs you!

Last year, the Parker Art Sale shined a spotlight on some of the amazing work created by Parker students, faculty, and community members. Additionally, the sale raised over $4,000 in support of the Third Decade Fund. This year, we are hoping to continue to support the arts at Parker by making the Art Sale even bigger and better than last year.

We are now accepting donations!

Pricing: Everything will be priced as “pay what you can” to allow Art Sale customers to pay by donation. We are not able to honor suggested pricing by donors.

What to donate: Donations will be curated by the Art Sale Committee so that a range of artists and mediums are represented. If your work is not selected to be in the sale, it doesn’t mean we don’t love it! We are looking primarily for work that has been made by students, Parker community members, or by local artists rather than prints or other store-bought items.

We are interested in showcasing the following:

  • original paintings, drawings, photographs or mixed media pieces (framed preferred)
  • ceramics (functional and decorative)
  • knitted goods
  • jewelry
  • ornaments or holiday decorations
  • word working (furniture, decorative items, bowls, etc.)
  • quilts or other sewn items
  • greeting/holiday cards
  • housewares or other handmade items

How to donate:

Contact Katrina Tedstone at ktedstone@theparkerschool.org about donating your work. While we are very excited to receive donations, we ask that you do not drop items off in the front office before coordinating with Katrina. Thanks for your support!
