Seniors are working hard to finalize their college lists and get their application put together. At this point, students should know if they plan to apply early action or early decision to any of their schools. There is a survey going out that they should be looking for to let us know if they plan to apply early. They should be working on their college essays and meeting with me to make sure they have their common app and all other supporting documentation ready! Come see me if you have questions!
Parker is hosting the PSATs on Wednesday October 16th from 8:30-12:15. We offer this for our 10th and 11th grade students and we have had an amazing turnout for registration this year. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 in order to finish for lunch, so please make sure to be here on time that day! An email will go out to parents and families the week before with helpful info and details about testing.
MEFA Financial Aid Night
We had a great presentation with lots of questions!! Thank you for all of those that were able to attend. The Power Point slides are on our page under the College Counseling Office and then under Resources for Parents and Students. The MEFA website also has an abundance of resources for you to look at. Again, reach out with any questions!
FAFSA & CSS Profile
Parents of seniors, FAFSA and CSS Profile have both opened for your student. You should be working to complete this at your earliest convenience. You will be using your 2018 tax information. If you are unsure if colleges require the CSS Profile, please use this link to see the complete list:
