In a few weeks, our seniors will be graduating, leaving Parker, and starting a new chapter in their lives. To help celebrate their accomplishment, it has always been a Parker tradition for the families of the junior class to help put on the Graduation Reception. This year’s Commencement will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 6:00 PM.
With a junior class of 63 hosting a reception for what has generally been about 500 family members and friends we will all need to pitch in and help to make it a memorable celebration.
We ask that each junior family commits to volunteering for one three-hour block, either the day before graduation, the day of graduation or the day after graduation. If we all lend a hand, the families of the seniors will be free to bask in their children’s success, and you can look forward to next year when it will be your turn to party and next year’s junior class will do the same for you!
We will be asking for donations of flowers from the whole school community as we did last year. It will be a breathtaking display made all the more special by the number of community members who contributed.
